Welcome to EUC Forum!

The new community for End User Computing in the UK

Upcoming Events

The new home for the UK AVD & UK Citrix User Groups

The home of end user computing topics and presentations, all are welcome to join a fun and friendly event with an open forum for listening and learning. Events are organised by the community, for the community. Speaking sessions are openly contributed by community members to share individual experience and knowledge. Previously, the UK AVD User Group and UK Citrix User Group focused on specific areas of EUC but as the EUC Forum we have come together to deliver a much broader and rich platform to discuss all things EUC.

UK AVD user group

The UK AVD User Group has been running monthly online meetings since August 2020 and in December 2021 added in-person meetings too. The community has grown rapidly and is one of the most active AVD User Groups in the world.

UK Citrix User group

The Citrix User Group is completely independent of Citrix and is one one the most well-established user groups in the world. It has been running for 10 years and has a large community of attendees with vast collective experience to share.

So what’s changed?

We’ve made a few changes to the content, format and frequency of meetings, but retaining all the elements that you’ve told us you like from the past.

The Steering Group

01

Vendor agnostic content

When we started the UK Citrix User group over a decade ago, there was only really one dominant player in the EUC space – Citrix. These days, the world of EUC is much broader with new vendors and start-ups breaking new ground. Bigger players like Microsoft are also delivering innovation in the EUC space. Going forward we’ll be delivering much more diverse content and will be accepting sponsorship from an expanded range of vendors related to EUC.

02

Three in-person meetings

COVID had a big impact on how people work, and thus how they attend events. We saw a big drop in attendance at in-person meetings, even after COVID restrictions were lifted. People work from home a lot more, and aren’t always looking to an event to give them a break from the office. As such we’ve moved from four to three main events per year, two in London, one elsewhere.

03

More networking opportunities

If there’s one thing COVID has taught us, it’s that people miss the connection of meeting in-person and making new friends and connections. We’ll be organising some networking-only events in-between our regular in-person meetings to build the EUC community and help share knowledge.

04

New sponsorship opportunities

Now we’re vendor agnostic this will remove the restriction of any Citrix competitors unable to be sponsors. If you’re a vendor in the EUC space, do drop us a line for our 2024 brochure.
